Welcome to SEWjo Saturday!!!! ( winner announced)

Welcome to SEWjo Saturday!  I am so happy to have you come and visit, share a finish and share some love!  I am looking forward to this weekly event with all of you!

This week, I am trying to get caught up on Block of the Month blocks and was able to finish The February and March blocks from the 2014 Aurifil Designer Block of the Month ( these are free patterns offered on Auribuzz).

The February Block Mother's Day is by Amy Gibson from  Stitchery Dickory Dock.

The March block "Lost in the Woods" is by Emily Herrick from Crazy Old Ladies Quilts

I also have some bibs I have been working on and hope to have them completed by the end of Sunday! We will see how that turns out since the weather here is going to be like summer and then snow again Monday.  I am over winter!

Are you ready to see what is inside that beautiful blue and white box...Aurifloss!!!!

One lucky random winner from the linked thumbnails will be chosen to receive this SWEET box with TEN of the most adorable wooden spools and wound on those spools, the most lovely embroidery floss in the world!

Let's get our SEWjo (sewing mojo) going!  This link up will be open from Saturday through Sunday to give you LOTS of time in case you need to do silly other stuff like make dinner or driving your kids somewhere and then there is always making sure you have good lighting. The things we all have to go through...sigh ;o)

To participate in the party please...
1. Share a project from this past week or TODAY!!! Link it up from your blog or, if you do not have a blog, your Flickr photos. It can be a  FABULOUS finish or a WIP ( any progress is always good)that you are working hard to get off your sewing table!

2. Share a link back to SEWjo Saturday somewhere in your post. I would be over the moon if you grabbed the button and shared that too ;o)

3. Share some love with some of the other posters!!!!  Visit some of the linked up photos and get inspired by other quilty friends' work. And please leave some sunshine in their comments! Let's support each other!

Thank you everyone for linking up! You all inspired me so much in many different ways!  I am already looking forward to next week!!!

The winner for this week's giveaway is ( I swear this never happens...LOL!)  CONGRATULATIONS Dorian!

  16. Love this linky party! I barely squeezed in this weekend but can't wait to see what everyone has been up to. I haven't used Aurifil before even though I hear so much about it. I should just order some from Moda but with so many choices I get overwhelmed. :)

I'll have to check out the block of the month you are doing. The Lost in The Woods is so cute!
